The first thing that struck me about this watch when I received my delivery from Amazon is how great it looks, the pictures I browsed through whilst looking to buy were great and really spurred me on with my purchase but not even they do justice to this incredible watch. I did a considerable amount of research before adding this to my watch collection and finally settled on a purchase through Amazon as the price was superb and have had great experiences in the past with delivery times and I was not disappointed.

I find the silver face of the watch very clear and easy to read and for me the watch looks elegant enough to work well wearing a business suit at work but the robust tripple link stainless steel bracelet really adds a gravity and sturdiness to its appearance which means it also looks amazing and not whilst I am realxing at the weekend in jeans and a t-shirt. One of the traditional chronograph subdials on this watch (at the 12 ‘o clock positions) has been replaced with a day date indicator which I find much easier to read than other watches with a date indicator at either the 3 or 4 o’ clock positions.

I attend lots of track days at the weekend and one of the functions that certainly encouraged my purchase was the clear Tachymeter dial and it has proved to be extremely easy to use whether I am on the side of the track or in the car!

In review I can find nothing negative to say about the Omega Men’s Speedmaster Day-Date Automatic Chronograph Watch, it does everything that I had hoped for and has in many ways exceeded my expectations. The authentic watch that I received promptly after placing my order with Amazon was packaged superbly and the price was significantly better than I could find anywhere else despite fairly extensive research, in short get one you will not be disapointed!

The Omega Speedmaster Professional has a classic, round face and features a hesalite crystal dial window. Unlike many materials used for watch crystals, hesalite is shatterproof. It is also a highly polishable material and any scratches that build up over time are easily smoothed away. This assures a clean, unobstructed view of the dial for years to come.
The dial itself is black with contrasting, luminescent hands and hour markers.
